Excerpts to Understanding: The right and wrong way to measure progress with an addiction.

"...addictive actions are the result of an emotional process – an attempted solution to feeling helplessly overwhelmed. Addictive behavior is therefore a symptom – a very destructive one, but a symptom nonetheless...

inherited ADHD?

Q: ADHD can be an inherited condition. True or False?

A: True. Research has shown that ADHD does seem to cluster in families. Several investigations have demonstrated that children who have ADHD usually have at least one close relative who also has ADHD.

Now, now, now...why am i not surprised???
Next thing they would say is that it came from "the other side". Sure, that could be...but Oh come on why go far, its not as if our family is know for mental and emotional stability. just another issue for my record...haha. anyway, this site seems to have useful info on this condition. maybe someday i can share my experience/s with my son.

Group Me

I'm quite enjoying myself in my new workplace...satisfied with the system and challeged to learn again. Everyone's friendly but I don't go with any group...I actually just keep to myself.
I find myself asking if this is wrong??? if it is then I wouldn't know what to do other then literally come out of my skin. And if I do come out of my skin...then that just wouldn't be me. I like keeping a low profile and as a friend so accurately described it in a question: "Do they even know you're there?"

Here's to understanding the other amidst the differences

Seven Things Extroverts Should Know About Introverts (and Vice Versa)

We don’t need alone time because we don’t like you. We need alone time because we need alone time. Don’t take it personally.http://www.psychologytoday.com/collections/201207/introverts-extroverts/what-introverts-and-extroverts-should-know

Extrovert vs Introvert

These “social butterflies” thrive under social stimulation. Extroverts focus on their external environment, the people and activities around them. Extroverts thrive in active, fast-paced jobs, such as politics, teaching and sales, where quick decisions are commonplace.
Introverts enjoy spending time alone or in small groups of people, but may get overwhelmed in new situations or in large groups of people.

Where did all the laughter go?

Looking back again...I see my smile....so much laughter in my eyes. Even I hardly recognize myself...didn't all these happen just this year and were only halfway through...seems so long ago.

unsatisfied

I think I've covered all the customizing that I need to do but I'm yet to be satisfied. I actually want my background black and all writings in white. can someone help me please???

What to share???

What exactly do I share?? This has been the question that's keeping me from actually starting a blog. Even i am not so sure about what I'm willing to show the world OR what the world is ready to see of me.  plus the fact that I'm still learning what and how to make a blog. GOSH...so many things to decide.
Do I make multiple blogs for the multi-faceted me or can I just make 1 but choose who can see it or not??? hmmm
